Specifies the quantity on the pick worksheet line that is available to pick. This quantity includes the released warehouse shipment lines for the item that exist on other lines in the current pick worksheet.
The value in the Available Qty. to Pick field is dynamically calculated using the following formula:
available quantity to pick = quantity in pick bins - (quantity that is already assigned on picks + quantity in pick bins that is reserved for other orders + quantity on other pick worksheet lines)

If the location does not use bins because the Bin Mandatory field is not selected, then only the quantity on picks and the quantity reserved are considered. |
Example
Ten pieces of item 70000 are available to pick in a pick bin. Three warehouse shipments exist, each shipment contains one line for item 70000. The three line quantities are 1, 3, and 5, respectively.
Scenario 1: When the first two warehouse shipments are released, the following pick worksheet lines exist:
-
Warehouse shipment line 1: Quantity: 1, Qty. Available to Pick: 7
-
Warehouse shipment line 2: Quantity: 3, Qty. Available to Pick: 9
Scenario 2: When the third warehouse shipment is released, the following pick worksheet lines exist:
-
Warehouse shipment line 1: Quantity: 1, Qty. Available to Pick: 2
-
Warehouse shipment line 2: Quantity: 3, Qty. Available to Pick: 4
-
Warehouse shipment line 3: Quantity: 5, Qty. Available to Pick: 6
Scenario 3: If an additional sales order is released for one piece of item 70000, the warehouse shipment is created, and the warehouse pick is created, then the following pick worksheet lines exist:
-
Warehouse shipment line 1: Quantity: 1, Qty. Available to Pick: 1
-
Warehouse shipment line 2: Quantity: 3, Qty. Available to Pick: 3
-
Warehouse shipment line 3: Quantity: 5, Qty. Available to Pick: 5
