Specifies a location code for the fixed asset. You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters.
You can also enter the code on a fixed asset card. After this, when you post to the fixed asset, the program will enter as a default the location represented by the code.
The code must be unique—you cannot have the same code twice in one table. You can set up as many FA Locations codes as you like. Use codes that are easy to remember and describe the location, for example, PROD for production and CALIFWARE for a warehouse in California.
