If your time sheet information remains the same from time period to time period, you can save time by copying the lines from the previous time period. Then, you just enter your time usage for the new period.

To reuse time sheet lines in subsequent time sheets

  1. Open the time sheet for the period following one for which you have previously entered lines.

  2. On the Action tab, choose Copy Lines from Previous Time Sheet. The lines are copied, including details such as type and description. For example, if the line is related to a job, the Job No. is copied. All copied lines have the status Open. Modify the lines as needed.

  3. Enter the number of hours that you want to record for each day in the work week that matches the type of time. You can then continue with the standard approval process. For more information, see How to: Submit Time Sheets for Approval.
