If you have installed the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Excel add-in, and you have exported data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV, you can refresh the data in order to get the most recent version of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV data. If you have made changes to the data in Excel, then these changes are overwritten when you refresh the data.
Important |
---|
Changes that you make to data in Excel cannot be imported back to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. |
The exported data is automatically inserted in a new workbook. You can only refresh Microsoft Dynamics NAV data from the original worksheet. You cannot refresh data from a PivotTable or other Excel entity.
To refresh data from Excel
In the Excel workbook, on the Dynamics NAV tab, choose Refresh.
The worksheet now has the newest data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
