Specifies the inventory posting group to which the item was posted from this posted assembly order line. This item is also knows as an assembly component. The value is copied from the Inventory Posting Group field on the assembly order line during posting.

When you post transactions for the item on the assembly order line, this code is used with location codes in the Inventory Posting Setup window where these combinations are linked to general ledger accounts.
