Specifies the order date, which is copied from the same field on the header when you create an order line and either enter a date or use the work date. You can change the order date on each line as necessary.
If you enter a requested receipt date on the order line, then the field is calculcated as:
Requested Receipt Date - Lead Time Calculation = Order Date
The order date then indicates the date on which you should order the item so that you receive it on time.
