Specifies whether the item on the credit memo line has been used to replace the whole service item, one of the service item components, installed as a new component, or just used as a supplementary tool in the service process.
The possible values of the field are: Component Replaced, Component Installed, Temporary, Permanent, <Blank>.

Component Installed | Indicates that the item was installed as a new component. |
Temporary | Indicates that the item on the current credit memo line was used as a temporary replacement of the whole service item. |
Permanent | Indicates that the item was used as a permanent replacement of the whole service item. |
<Blank> | Indicates that the item was used as a tool during the service process. |
The value from the Spare Part Action field is copied on the service line when you post the service credit memo.
