Contains the type of the service contract quote. There are eight options: Quote 1, Quote 2, Quote 3, Quote 4, Quote 5, Quote 6, Quote 7 and Quote 8.
You can use this field to help create a contract quote that the customer approves of. Each time you propose the contract quote to the customer and the customer wants further changes, you select a quote type with a higher number. If you file the contract quote at the same time, you have a copy of the quote with each quote type you use.
