Specifies that an inventory period can be open or closed. When the inventory period is open, the Closed field does not contain a check mark. When it is closed, the Closed field does contain a check mark.
When the inventory period is closed, you cannot post any value changes or any new values before the ending date of the inventory period. If necessary, you can re-open an inventory period to allow posting within the period again.
