Shows the entry's posting date.
The field can be filled in from the following fields:

Posting Date on the item journal line. | If the entry was posted from an item journal line, then the date is copied from this field on the item journal. line.

Posting Date on the sales header. | If the entry was posted from a sales order, invoice, or credit memo, then the date is copied from this field on the sales header. | ||
Posting Date on the purchase header. | If the entry was posted from a purchase order, invoice, or credit memo, then the date is copied from this field on the purchase header. |
