Specifies the code for the number series that is used to assign a document number to the journal line when it is posted. To see the number series that have been set up in the No. Series table, choose the field.
The number series code is automatically copied from the Posting No. Series field on the journal batch. You can change the code.
If this field is blank when you post the line, the document number in the Document No. field is also used on the posted line.
