Specifies whether items will never, automatically (Always), or optionally be reserved for this customer. Optional means that you must manually reserve items for this customer.

The field contains one of the following options:

Never

You cannot reserve items for this customer unless the Reserve field on the item card contains Always. Then the program will automatically reserve the items.

Optional

The program does not reserve items automatically. You can reserve the items manually.

Always

The program always reserves items for this customer.

The program uses this field when processing sales documents for the customer.
