Open the Report Layout Update Log window.

Contains the results of an Update All Layouts action or Test Layout Updates action that is performed from the Report Layout Selection window in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV client.

You perform these actions to update custom report layouts to changes that were made to the dataset of the report that is associated with the layout.

There is an individual log entry for each change to a field of a report layout that is affected by a change to the report layout dataset.

You can use the Status and Message columns to determine whether the update was successful. If there is an error, you can fix the error by selecting the log entry, and then in the Home tab, choose Edit to open and modify the report layout.

The log is cleared the next time you run an update or test update of the report layouts.
