Purchase Prepmt. Percentages window.
You use the Purchase Prepmt. Percentages window to set up default prepayment rates for items. These prepayment rates are expressed as a percentage of the item price. A prepayment percentage applies to an individual vendor.
You can also use the Prepayment % field on the vendor card to assign a default prepayment percentage for all types of purchase lines, for the vendor.
The program copies the default prepayment percentage for an item to purchase lines for that item, but you can change the percentage on the purchase line. The program uses the prepayment percentage on each line to calculate the prepayment line amount.
