Open the 
Service Item Replacement window.
Contains information about the service item that is linked to the service line that you are filling in and the item that you entered on the line. The item you entered on the line has the same number as the item number of the service item linked to the service line. Therefore, the program needs to know whether you are replacing the service item.
In this window, you can replace the service item linked to the service line with a new item. The program will register the new item as a service item when you post the service order. You can enter a serial number and a variant code for the new service item. For complex service items, that is, service items that contain components, select one of the following options from the Copy Components From field:

Item BOM (copies component list from Item BOM).

Old Service Item (copies components from the Old Service Item).

Old Service Item w/o Serial No. (copies components from the Old Service Item except Serial Number).
