Open the Microsoft Dynamics CRM User Coupling window.
Specifies a coupling between a salesperson in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and a user in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. A coupling links the salesperson record to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM user record.
The coupling enables the following functionality:
-
You can open the coupled user account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
-
From Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you can open the coupled salesperson in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
This requires that the Microsoft Dynamics NAV integration solution is set up in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. For more information, see How to: Set Up Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Integration with Dynamics NAV. -
You can synchronize the salesperson with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM user, so that data in salesperson fields that are mapped to corresponding fields in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM user is the same in both locations.
To set up the coupling between a salesperson and a Microsoft Dynamics CRM user, on the Coupling FastTab, set the User field to an existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM user.
You can use the information in the Coupled Records FastTab to help you determine which Microsoft Dynamics CRM user is coupled to the salesperson. The Coupled Records FastTab lists the some of the fields for the salesperson and the corresponding mapped fields for the selected Microsoft Dynamics CRM user. The Dynamics NAV Salesperson column displays the current field values in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and the Dynamics CRM User column displays the current field values in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
