If the reservation is for a sales line, the program automatically copies the date from the Shipment Date field on the line for which the items are being reserved.

If the reservation is for a purchase line, the program automatically copies the date from the Expected Receipt Date field on the line for which the items are being reserved.

If the reservation is for an item ledger entry or a journal line, the program automatically copies the date from the Posting Date field on the line for which the items are being reserved.
