Open the Web Meter History window.
The data elements used to populate an entry in the Meter History table may come from the header of a Released Order, a step in a Release Order when a Work Procedure is used to create the step or from a change in the meter value for the Equipment or Subassembly Card.
Meter History Update
Changes to the Current Meter, irrespective of their source, will result in the creation of an entry in Meter History. The field, Meter Entry Type, identifies how the entry was generated.
The entry type of Cascade (Sub-Assemblies only) indicates the entry was generated when Cascade Meter Change is active. Manual indicates the entry was generated by changing the Current Meter on the Card. A Header type indicates the entry originated from the input on the Header of a posted Order (Results tab, Service Meter). When a Procedure type is present, the entry was generated from the posting of a Step on an Order with a Test Type of Meter Reading or Meter Reset.
Meter History on the Sub-Assembly Card
In addition, anytime the Current Meter value is changed in the Equipment (top of hierarchy) record and Cascade Meter Change is active, a Finished Work Order is automatically created. This action has been added allowing each Meter History entry to "tie" to an originating document. When entries resulting from cascading are created in Meter History for the Equipment and/or Sub-Assembly, each entry will reference the same Finished Work Order.
