Open the Usage Entry for Work Order window.
When the Usage option is selected, a form showing all Related Requirement (those associated with the Header or the Line) for the Work Order is displayed. The Quantity and Unit Cost fields on this form represent the specifics when the Related Requirement was added to or created by the Order Generator. The Actual Quantity and Actual Unit Cost fields may be updated to reflect the actual consumption and cost thereof by the work. These are the fields that TAG uses to calculate costs and quantity utilizations shown on the Statistics Card for Equipment, Tools, Personnel, Vendors and Items.
Usage Entry for Work Order
The Header or Line column on the form indicates if the Related Requirement entry is associated with the Header or Line of the Work Order. A new Line may be inserted or added on the form. Right click your mouse and select Insert to insert a new line or position to a blank line. In either case, the Header or Line column will be populated with Header indicating the new Line will be added to the Header Related Requirement on the Work Order. You must now provide the Type, No. and Actual Quantity information.
The Actual Quantity and Actual Unit Cost fields are populated with the corresponding Expected values and may be updated to reflect the actual consumption and cost of the entry. These are the fields that TAG uses to calculate costs and quantities utilized and are shown on the Statistics Card for Equipment, Consumables, Tools, Personnel and OSP’s, These values are also used to calculate the values for the fields on the Inventory Inquiry.
