Open the Equipment Groups window.

Equipment Group – The Equipment Group is provided for historical data reporting purposes.

It is a useful filter for DateMeter Policies (DMP) and for Work Procedures.

(Example: You want to see all your Work Procedures related to "ENGINE")

If you use your own groupings to identify your Equipment, enter or select the value here.

An "Equipment Group" can be created or edited from the Equipment Card by drilling down on the field and by choosing "New" or "Advanced" to access the "Equipment Groups" Card.

The "Equipment Groups" are also maintained from Setup, Code Maintenance, Equipment Groups.

As an option, the "Equipment Groups" can be used to control the Label Names that appear on the Equipment Card "Technical", "Components" and "Miscellaneous" FastTabs.

To do so, go in In Setup, Code Maintenance, "Equipment Labels" to define a special set of Labels that will be used in the following three (3) FastTabs of the Equipment Card.

Additionally, when the Equipment Labels are defined, it is possible to activate (tick) the Field Lookup functionality. When the Field Lookup functionality is activated, from the Equipment Card, Technical or Component or Miscellaneous FastTab, it is possible to make a selection of values from an "Equipment Label Value List".
