Open the Planned Work Order Subform window.

The Lines section of the Work Order is where the work activities associated with it are defined. Lines may be created through manual entry or retrieved from a Work Procedure list or one or more Templates. To add a Work Procedure to a Planned or Released Order, click on the Line No. field and a list of the Work Procedures will be provided. Select the procedure you want to include and click the OK button. In addition, several data fields exist on the Line record.

Data Fields on a Line in a Work Order

Finished – A check mark in this field indicates the Line is closed.

Line No. – If the Line was manually entered, this field will contain blanks. For Lines that are retrieved from the Work Procedure List (as described above) the Line number from that table will appear.

Description – The description of the Line.

Technician Code –When a Line is created, (Order Generator, Maintenance Line List or Manually) the Technician from the Order header will be defaulted. You may change the Technician Code by clicking on this field and selecting a different Technician from a list comprised of the entries in the Personnel table.

Equipment ID - The Equipment Number associated with the Line.

SubLines Exists – A check mark in this column indicates there are sub-Lines that exist for this Line. Sub-Lines will only exist on a Line that was inserted into the Order by selecting it from the Work Procedure list.

Standard Time – The Standard Time for this Line.

Estimated Time – The Estimated Time for this Line.

Actual Time – The Actual Time for this Line.

Starting Date and Time – Entry capable fields for the starting date and time of the Line.

Ending Date and Time – Entry capable fields for the ending date and time of the Line.

Results Input Required – A check mark in this column indicates the Work Procedure used for this Line requires input be provided in the Results Value field before completion of the Order will be allowed.

Results Date – User entry field to record the Date the Results Value was collected.

Results Time - User entry field to record the Time of day the Results Value was collected.

Results Value – User entered value for a test result.

Unit of Measure – Enter or select the UOM for the Results Value.

Line Source – This field may contain the value of "Manual" or "Scheduler".

Created By and Date – The user who created the Line and the Date it was created.

Last Modified By and Date – Who last changed the Line and the Date it was changed.

Closed By and Date – The user that closed the Line and the date it was closed.

Due Date – The date this Line is due to be completed.

Notes Exist – Indicates a Note has been created for this Line.

Work Code – The Work Code associated with the Line.

The next eight (8) fields are used to track Dimensional information regarding the Line in the Work Order. They are:

• Department Code

• Project Code

• Customergroup Code

• Area Code

• Businessgroup Code

• Salescampaign Code

• Shortcut Dimension 7 Code

• Shortcut Dimension 8 Code
