Open the Copy Assembly Document window.
Creates a new assembly document that is based on information from an existing assembly document.
This is useful if you assemble the same item regularly and you do not want to recreate the standard assembly order every time that you create an assembly document.
Before you can copy an assembly document, you must first create a new assembly document that has a document number, such as a quote, order, blanket order, or posted order. Then, you can use this batch job to fill the new assembly document by using information from the copied document.
When you have selected the existing assembly document that you want to copy information from, you can choose to copy the whole document or the document lines only. To copy the document, select the Include Header check box. When copying document lines only, the batch job adds these lines to any existing lines in the assembly document that you are creating.
Note |
---|
Item tracking entries in the existing assembly document are not copied to the new assembly document. |
