Open the Import Item Budget from Excel window.
Imports a budget from an Excel workbook. This allows you to import budgets originally exported from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Excel.

You can import a budget into Microsoft Dynamics NAV from Excel in one of two ways:

You can create a new budget.

You can add the budget entries in Excel to existing budget entries in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This is useful if you want to create a single consolidated budget in Microsoft Dynamics NAV made up of a number of individual budgets imported from Excel.
Import Item Budget from Excel can be accessed from the Sales Budget Overview window or the Purchase Budget Overview window.
You can define how you want the batch job carried out. Fill in the fields as follows:
Options
Field | Description |

Budget Name | Select the budget that you want the entries imported to. |
Option | Select whether you want the program to add the budget entries from Excel to budget entries currently in the program, or whether you want the program to replace entries in Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the budget entries from Excel. |
Description | In this field, you can enter a description of the imported budget entries, so that the entries can be easily identified among other budget entries. |
Import Value as | Select the type of value that the budget contains. |
