Open the Remove Lines from Contract window.
Removes expired contract lines from service contracts. You can also use the batch job to print a test report.
When you run the batch job to remove expired lines from contracts, contract lines with a contract expiration date up to the date specified are removed and credit memos are created where necessary. The test report shows the contract numbers, the service items removed, the contract expiration dates, and the numbers of the credit memos that are created.
To run the batch job, open the Service Contract window. On the Actions tab, in the Functions group, choose Remove Contract Lines.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Remove Lines to | Enter the date up to which you want to remove contract lines. The batch job includes contract lines with contract expiration dates on or before this date. |
Reason Code | Select the reason code for the removal of lines from the contract. To see the existing reason codes, choose the Filter field. |
Reason Code Description | Enter a description for the Reason Code. |
Action | Choose Delete Lines if you want the batch job to remove the lines from the contract. Choose Print Only if you only want to print a test report that is based on the selected criteria. |
