Close Inventory Period - Test window.
Tests whether an inventory period can be closed. An inventory period can be closed, provided that the following is true:

There are no open outbound item ledger entries, meaning that there is no negative inventory.

The costs of all items have been adjusted with the Adjust Cost - Item Entries batch job.
The test report checks whether these conditions are true. If the report finds items with negative inventory or items whose cost has not yet been adjusted, it lists these items along with a description of the problem in the printed report.
